Transfer to us
A change of agencies is quick and straight forward, whether that be from a local authority or another independent fostering agency the process is the same. It will be the same process you did when first applying to become a foster carer but fast tracked. A formal meeting will take place between your current agency or Local authority, Hope Fostering and yourself. This may include a child’s social worker if you have a child already in you care.
There are many reasons why we may want to change agencies but being with an agency that best suits you, is the best outcome for all. At Hope fostering we understand that it is important to feel valued and supported, to be listened to and to be part of an agency that feels more like a family. Where carers support carers and share experience and knowledge.
After you get in touch we will arrange a visit where we can discuss in person the transfer protocol and answer any questions you may have. It will also be an opportunity to learn about Hope fostering in more detail. Once you have made the decision to transfer to Hope, you will need to give your resignation to your existing agency or Authority, and you can then apply to Hope fostering. You will then be assigned an assessor to start the process.
Our team at Hope Fostering focus on working with the carers to ensure the best outcomes are achieved for all foster child in our care. We provide 24/7 support and advice to our carers. If you are ready for a change, call us now or contact us through our contact page.
